The Ottawa Wedding Show

Hi Everyone.
The Empire P&V Team attended their first wedding show this past weekend. It was held at Lansdowne Park Oct 22-23, 2011. We designed a photo-studio style booth and it was a hit. Bride-and-Grooms-to-be had a free portrait taken on our backdrop and printed while they looked at our wedding albums and videos. Listening to the future brides comment on how much they liked the quality of our wedding albums, we knew we had made the right choice. Our albums feature lay-flat pages, 11″x15″ glossy photos, and a full photo wrap hard cover. Our other popular offering was our new Metal Prints. Photos are printed on brushed aluminum which provides a metallic sheen that looks amazing when showing the bride’s wedding gown and/or rich backgrounds. It comes with spacers so the final metallic print floats away from your living room wall.

We met a lot of people, made some new friends, and most importantly had fun. That’s what we call a success!

Champions Dance in Calgary

Hi Everyone.
Empire P&V is having a blast out in Calgary, Alberta with Champions Dance. 6 days and 1600 entries have our work cut out for us but our Videographers and Photographers are up to the challenge. We’ve seen some great routines so far and we are looking forward to the next 4 days of this event. We’ve met a lot of great parents, teachers, dancers, and schools and there is no greater compliment than listening to the “oohs” and “aahs” an watching the smiles as they see their pictures and video. The weather is great and there are so many fun things to do that we are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Dance Season Is Starting Up

Hello fellow dancers, dance parents, dance teachers, and dance aficionados.

Empire P & V is getting ready for a jam packed dance season. You’ll see us at many more competitions this year as we’ve made lots of great partnerships with some great companies in the dance competition scene. We are excited to be working with all these great people we regards to providing their photos and video.

We’ve reworked our ordering and viewing systems to make our small wait times even smaller. See your photos faster and order your prints quicker using our new software. You’ll be amazed. We’ve upgraded everything from our cameras to our computers to bring you the premium quality you’ve come to expect year after year.

We have expanded our range of items to reflect our continuing commitment to providing premium artistic and upscale products for every event. Blu-Ray discs will now be available to order onsite as well as DVDs this year. Watch your performances in full HD the way they were meant to be seen on your Blu-Ray player at home. We have added photo books and canvas prints to our photo lineup as new ways to share your memories with family and friends.

CHE Canadian Cup

Hey Sports Fans.
Empire is down in Montreal doing what we do best, and that’s taking pictures. CHE hockey Enterprises is hosting their Canadian cup and teams have come from all over Canada and the US to play. The action is fierce and more importantly everyone is having fun. If you haven’t checked it out and your looking for a good hockey tournament then CHE is the place to be.

Orleans Atom 35th Hockey Tournament

Hi All.
Once again Empire Photo and Video is honored to attend the Orleans Atom tournament to provide our onsite photography services. Our photographers are working hard to provide action photos of all the games. The All Star game on Saturday was full of excitement and awesome to watch! We even had a special guest sing the national anthem who was in the top 40 on Canadian Idol. The finals are coming up this afternoon an we wish all of the players the best of luck.
Special thanks to Denis and Paul for allowing us to attend and all the help they gave us throughout the weekend.

Local Dance Competition Crazy Fun!

Hi Everyone.
This weekend it’s a local dance competition at the Museum of Civilisation in Gatineau, Quebec. The crowds are full of energy and we are working hard to provide everyone with their photos and DVDs onsite. We’ve seen some great talent today and we are definately looking forward to seeing some more tomorrow. There are many schools competing which makes this event so exciting.
Our HD video is a crowd pleaser along with our poster prints! There are many a smiling parent walking away from out sales table with Video and print in hand.

We are looking forward to day 2 tomorrow.
